Savory Breaded Turkey Breast

If you've never tried fried turkey, you're missing out on an easy-to-make, delicious treat. Here's what you'll need to fry up some turkey:

1 lb. skinless, boneless turkey breast (raw, cut into strips)
1 cup dry bread crumbs
1/4 cup parmesan cheese (grated)
2 teaspoons Italian style seasoning
1 cup milk
1/4 cup olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste

In a bowl, mix together the bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning.

Pour milk into another bowl.

Dip raw turkey strips in milk, and then dip into the bread crumb mixture.

In a large pan/skillet, place 1/4 cup olive oil and heat it up using medium heat. When the oil is hot, drop the coated turkey strips in and cook for 8 minutes or until the turkey is golden brown.

Drain on paper towels. Serve.

Simple Crab Cakes

Here's what you'll need to make these delicious crab cakes:

1 egg (well beaten)
2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
1 tablespoons prepared mustard
1 tablespoons butter, melted
1 teaspoon fresh chopped parsley
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon old bay seafood seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 pound claw crabmeat (drained, flaked)
1 1/2 cups pork rind crumbs
vegetable oil

In a large bowl, blend together the egg, butter, mayonnaise, prepared mustard, parsley, dry mustard, old bay seafood seasoning, salt, and pepper.

Add the crab meat and shape into 8 patties. Roll the patties in the pork rind crumbs.

In a deep saucepan over high heat, add a generous amount cooking oil. When the oil is hot, drop the crabcakes in the oil until they are golden brown. (If you have access to a deep fryer, cook the patties at 350 degrees. They will float the top when done.)

Drain the excess oil onto paper towels. Serve hot.
