Homemade Alfredo Sauce

Making Alfredo sauce from scratch is a lot easier than you might think, and it only takes about 3 minutes. Here's what you'll need to make this creamy alfredo sauce from scratch:

2 cups heavy whipping cream
1 cup parmesan cheese (freshly grated)
1 cup of butter
1/2 cup chopped parsley

In a saucepan, melt the butter over LOW heat. You don't want it to burn or the sauce won't come out tasting very good.

After the butter is metled, pour in the heavy whipping cream, making sure to stir it well. Add the parmensan cheese and parsley.

If you want a thicker sauce, add more parmesan cheese. If you want a thinner sauce, add more heavy cream.
